Introduction

Created in 1964, as soon as meal vouchers were introduced in France, Chèque Déjeuner based its originality on its cooperative structure.

In the Sixties, the success of the cooperative rested on a simple premise: thanks to a new voucher, the Chèque Déjeuner, employees had access to a balanced meal during their lunch break. The heads of companies proposed a complement to salaries which was exempt from social charges and tax and, lastly, this meal voucher was the promise of a new clientele for the affiliated restaurants.

The Chèque Déjeuner cooperative group, as it is today, started to come together in the 1990s with the start of its international activities and the diversification of first the vouchers activities followed by the services.

Every day, these vouchers (Chèque Déjeuner, Cadhoc, Chèque Culture, Chèque Domicile CESU, etc.) prove to be amazingly up-to-date faced with the problems and issues of our contemporary society. Today, the Chèque Déjeuner Group is the third leading issuer worldwide of socially and culturally-oriented vouchers.

The activities of the Services Division enable corporate bodies, companies and individuals to benefit from a large bouquet of services with a strong social cohesion potential. In their own field, each of the subsidiaries is in a leadership position in their markets.
